President Cyril Ramaphosa's Cabinet would have you believe that they worked harder in 2020 than it has previously ever done.

It definitely was not business as usual for the entire executive amid the declaration of the state of national disaster in light of the Covid-19 pandemic which first affected South Africa in early March.

That had given some ministers unfettered power, made others irrelevant and several simply just did not step up to the occasion.
